Rachel Handlebarz is an unnamed background student from the 2000s Slice of Life Comedy anime 'Azumanga Daioh'

Rachel's official name, given by J.C. Staff, was 'Female Student A'. She was designed to be a background character, and blend into the background, rarely having a speaking role once in a blue moon.

the name "Rachel Handlebarz" was adopted around the mid 2000s by the imageboard Idlechan, due to her distinctive twin braids, which make her stand out in crowds (ironically)

Rachel has gained semi-popular status in nichhe portions of the Azumanga community over the years, and is easily one of the most popular background characters in the show.
